Small Group Pilates
in Brest
(2- 6 People)
- I live in or near Brest, Brittany. I would like to practise Pilates as part of a small semi-private class (with friends, co-workers or my spouse for example).
- I would love to increase my strength in my abdomen to protect my back and have a healthy spine. I’m sure that getting my body back in motion will help me have more energy throughout the day. I spend most of my day sitting down and would really like to do something to stop feeling hunched over and improve my posture, but I don’t know how.
- I’ve been struggling to get into shape for a while now and I feel like I need to find a way to strengthen my body. I’m really tired of waking up in the morning and feeling stiffness in my neck or shoulders and I’m tired of having a sore back. I want to do something now to take steps to change my situation quickly.
- I would like to be able to choose the time that suits me for the sessions, without having to commit to fixed time slots for a whole year. I would like to see someone face-to-face in a semi-private group class to get personalised advice from a professional to guide me towards my goals.
- I would feel more comfortable as part of a small group of people who share similar goals and receiving instruction from a Pilates teacher in English as I don’t feel as confident speaking French.
1 to 1 Pilates
in Brest
(Private Sessions)
- I live in or near Brest, Brittany. I have back pain and I would like to practise 1 to 1 Pilates classes to help my condition. I have received treatment from a physiotherapist or osteopath BUT my back pain still bothers me in daily life.
- I’m really tired of waking up in the morning and feeling stiffness in my neck or shoulders and I’ve had enough of being sore in my back. I want to do something about it, but I don’t know which movements are safe for my body.
- My physiotherapist, osteopath or doctor has recommended that I do some physical activity BUT I don’t think a group class is appropriate for me and I would prefer individual coaching so that I can work closely with a professional.
- I would like to see someone face-to-face and get individual attention to help me increase my abdominal strength, improve my posture and become more flexible. I would prefer to be able to choose the time that works for me for the sessions, without having to commit to fixed time slots for an entire year.
- I know I need to act now to make a real difference. I need customised sessions, tailored to my needs, as well as advice and regular feedback from a coach to guide me towards my goals. I would feel more comfortable with personalised instruction in English as I don’t feel as confident speaking French

- My physiotherapist, osteopath, doctor or friend has recommended I do Pilates BUT I don’t think a group class is appropriate for me and I can’t find a teacher near to where I live
- I struggle with lower back pain (or another condition) and have finished a course of treatment with a physiotherapist BUT it still gets in the way of my day to day life.
- OR I am an expecting mother/ I have recently given birth and would like to follow a course or pre/post-natal exercise to help my body before/after pregnancy.
- I want to do something about it, however, I am unsure which exercises are safe.
- I would like the convenience of seeing someone online so that I can perform the sessions from my home, without having to spend time travelling
- I am fed up of waking up in the morning and feeling stiff/sore in my neck/shoulders/back and I want to do something now, to change my situation.
- I know I have to do something but I am afraid of making it worse.
- I would feel more comfortable with instruction in English as I don’t feel as confident speaking French

- I would like to look good and feel confident in my own skin
- I struggle with keeping active on my own, I know that this is something I would like to change in my life and I feel having someone checking in regularly would help me to do this
- Right now, it seems like I lack the time to do this on my own, I think that getting the help of a professional would keep me on track and stay motivated
- I know that I want to have a healthy spine by keeping active and be stronger, as these are important to me as I get older
- I want to be mindful of my posture and take the time to stretch regularly as I know this is good for my body and I feel better when I am able to do this

“Before working with Oli I had been running for 11 years relatively injury free and had never done any additional strength work. As I had started to increase my mileage to marathon distance the niggles started and then last year, I picked up an ankle injury and then developed ‘Runners Knee’…

In the past few weeks, I have been increasing my mileage a tiny bit each week and have been running pain free. It has boosted my confidence and I’m looking forward to racing again next year!”
